Root Canal or Non-Surgical Endodontic Therapy
This is the procedure performed when the pulp inside the root canal(s) of your tooth is infected or injured. It consists in carefully opening your tooth or crown at the top, removing the diseased pulp, thoroughly cleaning, conservatively shaping and tightly sealing the root canal(s). Should you need afterwards a crown or filling done, we highly recommend that you do so in the fastest manner to ensure that the bacteria will not re-infect your tooth.

Retreatment
Every now and then, it is necessary to retreat a tooth. The procedure is in essence the same as the one described previously for the root canal therapy. It differs in that it is not the pulp that must be removed but the sealing material also called gutta percha. As the sealer adheres tightly to the root channel(s), and often times, your crown and its “glued” post must be removed, it is a more complex procedure and need extra time and tools to perform it. Hopefully, Dr. Sayman has treated plenty of such cases and thereof will be able to perform an excellent work in a single visit in most cases.

Microsurgical Endodontics or Apicoectomy
Sometimes non-surgical endodontic therapy or retreatment are not sufficient to eradicate a persistent infection. It is necessary then to proceed with an in-office surgery, using only a standard local anesthetic but strong enough to ensure you a high level of comfort. Because our standards of sterilization and cleanliness are the highest and that Dr. Sayman has performed numerous apicoectomies, it is a safe procedure. Furthermore, we perform it in most cases in a single visit. The procedure consists in microsurgically removing the root tip and part of the old sealant and tightly seal back the root canal(s) with a new filling.

Traumatic Injuries Treatment such as Apexification and Replantation
Sometimes, a trauma, usually a blow, can occur and it may result in the damage of the pulp, the stop of the growth of a child’s tooth’s root or the loss of the tooth. According to the problem involved, Dr. Sayman will successfully, as in his past treatments, perform an apexification or a replantion of the tooth in its socket.

Kidz entertainment
We imagined that it would be very pleasant and helpful for parents to be able to bring their children at the office, when they don’t have another alternative, and be sure they are nicely occupied. For obvious safety reasons, they cannot be in the operatory room. We have toys to entertain them. For the youngest, we have prepared a special high chair so they can be with you in the operatory room.
